How PKR Beat Started — and Why It Was Needed
Before PKR Beat, Pakistani players who wanted to bet online had very limited choices. Most platforms were built for European or Asian markets and treated Pakistan as a secondary concern at best. Deposits required converting PKR into USD or EUR, losing money on exchange rates before even placing a bet. Payment options were either not available or unreliable. Customer support had no understanding of local context, and cricket coverage — arguably the most important sport in Pakistan — was often incomplete.
The founding team behind PKR Beat had experienced all of these frustrations first-hand. The idea was straightforward: build the platform that Pakistani players actually needed. PKR Beat launched in 2019 with a small suite of cricket betting markets and a handful of live casino titles. The player base grew through word of mouth within the first year — which told us we had gotten the fundamentals right.
